He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred and Avocade "Chev" Duet Sr.; his children, Alice Hodge and Aresanna Hodovsky; his grandsons, George, John, Hunter and Christopher; and his siblings, Jessie Duet Sr., Cliff Duet, Wildred, James "Jim" Duet, Edith Pierce, Augustine "Tin" Dufrene, Nita "Veaux" Cheramie, Rita Duet and Fredia "Bada" Cheramie.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Cheramie Duet; his children, Joyce Chabert, Cathy Orgeron (Black), Archie Duet Sr. (Vivian), Simon Duet (Melissa), Shebby Neil (Craig), Ronnie Duet Sr. (Dana), Jeannie Cheramie (Jason) and Georgina "Gina" Bourg; his sister Monita Rousse; and his sister-in-law Lois Duet. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
