With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Rogers of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on October 12, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cleveland Rogers; her parents, Charles Guidry and Irene Guidry; her children, Jerry Rogers, Sr. (Sheila), Larry Rogers, Sr. (Gail) and Joyce Rogers Charpentier (C. J.); her great grandchild Ashley Rogers Lafont; her daughters-in-law, Karen Rogers and Charlene Rogers; and her siblings, Cyric, Victor, Paris Guidry and Elizabeth Guidry Gisclair.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Rogers, Sr. (Karen) and Tammy Rogers; her daughters-in-law, Gail and Shelia; and her grandchildren, Jerry Rogers, Jr., Stacey Rogers Lathrop, Tangy Rogers, Kristie Rogers Fontenot, Jessie Rogers, Larry Rogers, Jr., Scarlet Lafont, Shane Rogers, Rayshelle Rogers, Johnny Rogers, Jr., Drake Rogers, Brian Rogers, Tonia Rogers Case, Roxie Plaisance, Chad Melancon and Angel Melancon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (17980 W Main St, Galliano, LA 70354). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery (723 N Bayou Dr, Golden Meadow, LA 70357).
