He is survived by: his children, Corey Melancon, Coty Melancon (Jennifer) and Courtney Melancon (Tiffany); his grandchildren, May, Holdyne, Gage, Ryden and Seth; and his siblings, Cliff Cheramie, Lowell Autin, Elizabeth Brunet and Mona Brunet.
