She was predeceased by: her former husband George David Roberts; her husband William Monroe Carroll; her parents, Elbert Chevalier and Eula Rollins Chevalier; her brother Willie T. Chevalier; her son-in-law John Gary Doyle; and her granddaughter Lindsay Doyle Wilmore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Roberts Doyle and Brenda Roberts Ellington (Bill); her grandchildren, Michael Doyle (Abbey) and Brittany Ellington Rosier (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Anniston, Eli, Jhett Wilmore, Miles, Owen Doyle, Ellington and Hollis Rosier; and her brother Elton Aubin Chevalier (Evelyn). She is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.
