He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Burns and Frankie Burns; and his brother Tim Burns. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Burns of Glenmora; his daughters, Bridgette Henry (Billy, Jr.) of Mittie, Shandra Burns (Russell) of Glenmora and Jodie Bohannon (Travis) of Pineville; and his siblings, Robin Burns of Melder, Don Burns of Glenmora, Tommy Burns of Glenmora and Ann Burns Monroe of Glenmora. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
