He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Jonas Willis and Johnnie Mae Stockman Willis; his stepson Carl Giles, Jr.; and his sister Karen Fontenot. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Willis; his children, Lamar Giles, Matt Willis and Selena Coon; and his sister Deborah Trahan (Wyatt). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
