He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Perry and Olla Perry; his son David Alexander Perry, Jr.; and his former wife Luerine Blood Perry. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Perry of McNary; his daughters, Nadine Lemoine (Johnny) of St. Landry and Sarah Marie Byrd of Bayou Chicot; his stepchildren, James Lamkin (Ruthann) of Ball, Tina Wales of Ball, Tressa Renea Lamkin of Dry Prong and Jo Lynn Parr of Houma; and his brother Charles Perry (Janie) of Poland. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
