He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Ann Johnson; his parents, Jessie Johnson and Mary Johnson; his daughter Heather Johnson; his grandson Josh Thompson; and his siblings, J. B. Johnson, Elvin "Jack" Johnson, Dean Johnson, Lenora "Nuk" Johnson, Eunice Johnson, Pauline Stanley and Jewel Johniken.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Johnson (Marcie) of Hineston, Shonda Johnson Pruitt of Calcasieu, Kimberly Johnson George (Brian) of Sieper and Michelle Johnson Williamson (Jake) of Hineston; his siblings, Charles Johnson of Oakdale, Laverne Chenevert of Oakdale and Evelyn Johnson of Union Hill; his grandchildren, Hailey Thacker (B. J.), Chase George (Marissa), Emily George (Jacob), Kenzie Williamson and Josey Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Kennadie, Hagen, Brand, Brooklyn and Jaxson.
