She was predeceased by: her husband W. J. Monroe; her parents, Horace Rhame, Sr. and Amanda Rhame; her children, Gary Monroe and Donna Jenkins; and her siblings, Claude Rhame, Columbus Rhame, Horace Rhame, Jr., Zuma Bruce, Maxine Roberts and Verna Dousay.
She is survived by: her son Keith Monroe (Karen) of Glenmora; her children-in-law, Rodney Jenkins (Wanda) of Bayou Chicot and Angela Monroe of Pineville; her sister Elizabeth Smith of Alexandria; and her grandchildren, Jeff Jenkins (Heather), Sharon Blankenship (Bruce), April Monroe, Amanda Russell (James), Lee Anne Andries (Dave) and Sarah Jaye Monroe. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the youth and pre-teen department at Harmony Baptist Church.
