He is survived by: his son William Hile Dake Jr.; his grandchildren, Wesley Haltom, Courtney Gernon and Colton Dake; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Haltom and Asia Gernon.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel (1107 S Pine St, Vivian, LA 71082). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
