With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Ann Ragan of Gilliam, Louisiana, born in Minden, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dempsey Wilkinson and Lillie Mae Wilkinson; her husband Thomas Lockett Ragan; and her siblings, Betty Burnette, Helen Purifoy, Charles Wilkinson and Janice Sebren.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Anne Ragan Micheau; her sisters, Barbara Jean Stinson, Frances Waters and Joanne Haltom; her daughter Melissa Ragan; her grandchildren, Eddie Stevens (Brandy), April Soper (Alex), Brittany Bohannon (Matthew) and Lance Myers; and her great grandchildren, Colton Stratton, Huntlee Stevens and Kathryn Soper. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many family members and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, two of Shirley's favorite things were gardening and eating out, so planting something beautiful in your yard or sharing a meal out with your family would be a wonderful way to remember her.
