We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2021, at the age of 87, Thomas L. Boone of Gilbert, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Welch and Louella Welch; and his siblings, Louis Boone, Luther Boone, Dickie Welch and Loyce Lofton.

He is survived by: his wife Gaye Lofton Boone of Gilbert, LA; his sister Sherlie Lofton of Copperas Cove, TX; his children, Denise Bourgeois (Dale) of Schriever, LA, Diane Gallup (Mickey) of Winnsboro, LA, Eddie Boone of Monterey, LA, Darrell Boone (Nikki) of Winnsboro, LA and Loretta Blankenstein (Don) of Vidalia, LA; and his niece Ramona Enterkin. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Gideons International and St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
