He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline McFarland; his parents, Johnnie McFarland and Ella Madie Ezell McFarland; his siblings, Rayford McFarland, J. D. McFarland, Earnest McFarland, Dorothy Netherland and Margie Thornhill; and his sons-in-law, Robbie Magee and David Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Henderson (Wayne), Peggy Martin (Tommie), Penny Arnold, Robin Fondren (Lloyd) and Bud McFarland (Pam); his grandchildren, Donald, Tina, Dena, Jason, Junior of Marlan, TJ, Brandie, Tater, Anthony and Travis; and his sisters, Irene Jones, Edna Keen and Maudie Powell. He is also survived by twenty one great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Turkey Creek Baptist Church (6681 LA-128, Winnsboro, LA 71295). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Providence Memorial Cemetery.
