He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Osborne Seymore; his son Kenneth Tyrone Seymore; his parents, Richard, Sr. Seymore and Irene White Seymore; his siblings, Percy Seymore and Betty Ruth Seymore; and his grandparents, Willie, Louise Seymore and Clarsie White.

He is survived by: his daughters, Richelle S. Chukwu (Jerry) and Shannon L. Seymore; and his sister Clarsie Louise Williams. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
