It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Washington of Gibson, Louisiana, who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Leo of Washington; her parents, Andrew, Sr. Johnson and Elizabeth Butler Johnson; her siblings, Andrew, Jr., Alexander, Sr., Joseph, John Johnson and Eula Mae Carter; and her grandparents, Augusta, Sr. and Leah Duchan Butler.
She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne Norman of Washington; and her siblings, Augustus Johnson and Essie J. Johnson. She is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
