It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Landry (Gibson, Louisiana), who passed away on January 3, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Steward "Phillip" Aleman and Fedora Aucoin Aleman; her husband Sidney J. Landry Jr.; her daughter Charlotte Landry James; her grandson Kirby Lewis; her great grandchild Carl R. Miller; her daughter-in-law Vickie Landry; and her siblings, Margaret Rhodes, Maudrey Bailey, Collins Aleman and Allen Aleman.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne "Sue" Landry of Gibson, Barbara Malik of Morgan City and Byron Landry of Gibson; her son-in-law Howard James of Bayou Vista; and her siblings, Betty Blanchard (Gilbert) of Bayou Vista, Ala, Glavin of Morgan City, Calvin Alemand (Lydia) of Bayou Vista and Roy Alemand (Gaydell) of Lafayette. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren.
