It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Johnson of Gibson, Louisiana, who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Nolan Baker; her son Roland Baker; and her parents, Townsend Poindexter and Castina Matthews Poindexter. She is survived by: her children, Robert, Bernard Baker (Barbara) and Nellie Patterson (Lester); and her sister-in-law Maxine Poindexter. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren.
