It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ortis of Gibson, Louisiana, born in Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Pierre Ortis and Bernice Pearce Ortis; his son-in-law Jason Lynn; and his brother-in-law Kennon Beadle. He is survived by: his children, Christopher "Chris" Ortis of Morgan City and Serena Ortis Lynn of Destrehan, LA; his siblings, Avery Ortis (LaFon) of Morgan City, Lorena Beadle of Ponchatula and Gail Hebert of Berwick; and his grandchildren, Carmen Lynn and Jackson Engel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
