He was predeceased by: his parents, Rennorh, Sr. Short and Lillie Mae Butler Short; his brothers, Harold Lee, Rennorh, Jr. and Donnie Roy Short; and his grandparents, Clarence, Leola Gray Short, Avery and Rebecca Bergeron Butler.
He is survived by: his sisters, Leola Short and Katherine Brown (Michael); and his close friend Mable Dunaway. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a. m. until funeral time at 10:00 a. m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 716 6th Street in Morgan City, LA. (Per CDC requirement/local regulations, everyone is required to wear a face mask at all times in building).
