He is survived by: his wife Sue Heflin of Gibsland; his son William L. Heflin, Jr.; his wife Sandy of Arcadia; his daughter Amanda Heflin (Curtis) of Arcadia; his siblings, Barbara Heflin of Minden, Carolyn Prothro (Stanley) of Athens and Bud Barker (Betty) of North Carolina; and also, David Heflin (Meronda) of Texas and Joseph Heflin (Rhonda) of Gibsland.
