He is survived by: his wife Leanna Schouest; his sons, Alvin Schouest and Calvin Schouest; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacob and Cheyanne Schouest; his great grandchildren, Derrel, Mallory, Alyssa, Zaiden, Zoey'lynn, Liam, Olivia, Zander, Hope and Faith; his godson Jared Matherne; and his siblings, Anderson "Yan" Schouest, Harvey Breaux and Vivian Clement.
