He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Toups and Bess Dufrene Toups; his stepson Terry Guidry; and his siblings, Alvin, Donovan, Cleary, Tommy, Dale, Lindel, Sandy Toups, Lois Walker, Wanda Toups, Shillie Sampey and Brenda Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Carlotta Pitre Toups; his daughter Debbie Toups Head (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica, Gracie and Mikie; his great grandchildren, Lincoln and James Dean; and his siblings, Kearney, Reed, Randy, Lane Toups, Dolores Foreman, Connie Matherne and Cathy Durio.
