She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley J. Matherne, Jr.; her son Jeffery Gordon; her parents, Dickerson Falgout, Sr. and Marie Rodriguez Falgout; and her siblings, Dickerson "Dickie" Falgout, Jr., Pearl Cheramie and Era Jean Bourgeois.

She is survived by: her siblings, Wilkerson "Mickey" Falgout, Ouida Guidroz and Nona Matherne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
