It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Sweat of Georgetown, Louisiana, born in Winnfield, Louisiana, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Elijah Clark, Sr. and Erma Drucilla Allbritton Clark; and her siblings, Charles Elijah Clark, Jr., Melvin Jiles Clark, Billy Ray Clark, Jerry Parker Clark, Jimmy Dee Clark, Robert Allen Clark and Mildred Marie Rooney.
She is survived by: her husband Harvel Sweat of Georgetown, LA; her children, Johnny Laru Sweat (Kim), Lisa Marsdon (Allen) and Angela Owens; and her sister Glenda Clark Pendarvis. She is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Urania United Pentecostal Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
