He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne Holmes of Georgetown; his children, Edward B. Holmes, Jr. of Georgetown, Robert Holmes of Georgetown, Jacqueline Jean Holmes of Jackson, MS., Mashonda Goodman (Larry) of Georgetown and Kimberly Willett of Tullos; and his siblings, Joel Holmes of Baton Rouge, Jane Jones (Tom) of Georgetown and Rebecca Avery of Dallas, TX.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
