She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Eva Lorraine Cruse; her sisters, Cleo Hopkins, Theo Cockerham, Opal Butler and Mary Helen Cockerham; and her son-in-law Raymond Cockerham.
She is survived by: her husband Byron McCarver of Geismar, LA; her children, Dana Cockerham of Houston, TX, Michael McCarver (Albert) of Grand Isle, VT and Kerby Cromwell (Debbi) of Haslet, TX; her siblings, Laverne Coates of Shreveport, LA, Eddie and Olan Coolman of Ola, LA; and her grandchildren, Trey Cline (Mary Ann), Callie Cline-Becnel (Hunter) and Kelsey Cromwell. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
