He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elzina, Lloyd Nicholas Sr., Irene and Joseph Starks; his siblings, Helena Starks and Felipe Starks; and his father-in-law Reverend Rosevelt McMeller Sr..
He is survived by: his parents, Cheryl Ann Nicholas and Edward Starks Sr. (Brenda); his wife Joy Nicholas; his children, Allegra Nicholas, Shawn Nicholas Jr., Mackenzie Nicholas, Zaiden Nicholas, De'lyn McMeller and Delanie McMeller; his mother-in-law Shirley McMeller; and his siblings, Edward Starks Jr., Edward Garner, Michael Starks, Carolyn Starks, Trenell Bougere (Tyrone), Shontell Johnson (Anthony), Cleo Starks, Jovan Neal (Aundre), Ebony Starks, Michelle Starks, Janae Starks, Truly Lightfoot and Daisy Williams (Shelton). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
