He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Kling; his parents, Loney Babin Kling and Alexander P. Kling, Sr.; and his brothers, Alexander, Berlin Kling and Barney Kling.
He is survived by: his children, Nolan "Heavy" Kling, Jr. (Carla) and Stacey Guitreau; his stepson James "Tater" Montalbano (Darlene); his siblings, Randy Kling, Sr., Vernell Kling Mire and Carolyn Kling Melancon; and his pet Dixie. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
