She is survived by: her children, James Jr. (Sandra) of Alexandria, LA and Angela Holloway of Geismar, LA; her grandchildren, Lawrenell, Jazzmine, Lamarius and Jamie Lynn; her great grandchildren, Marlee and Journey; her sisters, LeEster Brown, Hilda Valentine (Gene), Carolyn Jackson and Lily Morris-Cheatham; her sisters-in-law, Audrey, Nell, Betty Morris and Bet Jean Holloway; her friend Leo Gaines Sr.; her daughter Ardene Johnson (Dennis Carey); and also Sophia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
