With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Marie Barber Queen (Geismar, Louisiana), who passed away on September 23, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ed Queen, Sr.; her grandson Andre; and her siblings, John, Israel, James, Ernest, Charlie Barber and Mary Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Ed, Jr. Queen (Theresa), Betty Clark (Donald), Michael Queen, Sandra (Rayborn II) and Van Queen (Miranda); her siblings, Linda Barber, Yvonne Coco, Sr. (Arthur) and Clarence Barber; her siblings-in-law, Betty Barber, Ruby Barber, Elder Alson Glass, Jr. (Florida) and Willie Queen; and her godchildren, Brenda Green, Anthony Barber and Anthony Miller of Geismar, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association, or the Alzheimer's Association.
