He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Cushenberry Carter; his children, Deanza Carter Lane (Lakeith) and Cedric Raven (Marie); his siblings, Edward Carter (Mary) and Antis Marie Landry; his siblings-in-law, Gloria Pinell (Saveria) and Melvin Cushenbery Jr. (Andrea); his grandchildren, Kierel, Keilyn, Lakenya, Khloe and Jase; his great grandchildren, Zy'ire, Zewaun, Heiress, Kaiden and Kyrie; and his godchildren, Kendra, Jamila, Danielle, Ryan and Caitlyn.
