It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Anderson Sr. (Garyville, Louisiana), born in Gloster, Mississippi, who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Anderson and Hattye Bates Anderson; his wife Mary Louise Anderson; his child Avis Anderson Morris; and his siblings, Julius Anderson and Alma Anderson Thompson.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Cambre of Reserve, Joyce Anderson (Walter Sr.) of Broken Arrow, Dr. Wesley Anderson, Jr. (Ruth) of Laplace and Russell Anderson of Garyville; and his siblings, Fannie Hunley of Missouri, Wendell Anderson, David Anderson, Malcolm Anderson of Hammond and Barbara Jean Alexander of Illinois. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
