He was predeceased by: his parent Walter J. Gerard, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Ceola B.; his spouse Lydia Miller Gerard; his children, Qiana Martin, Etrena, Germond and Lavoy Gerard, Sr.; and his siblings, Sandra Smith, Sharon Davis, Pamela Frank, Latrichia Holmes, Ceola George, Dena Burficit, Nathaniel Gerard and Nicholas Gerard. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren a host of other relatives and friends.
