He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Cambre Hales; his parents, Ralph Hales and Maggie Hales; and his brother Robert Hales. He is survived by: his children, Larry Hales of Ralph, Mark Hales (Janee), Todd Hales and Tanya Hales; and his siblings, Rebecca "Becky" Hales, David Hales (Brigitte) and Jannice DeSoto (Darrell). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
