With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherman Rivers of Gardner, Louisiana, who passed away on August 24, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rivers and Irma Vanasselberg Rivers; and his siblings, Bill Rivers, Jerry Rivers, Harvey Rivers, Aurthor Rivers, Joan Rivers and Maggie Ranger.

He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Rivers of Gardner, Odis Walding of Gardner and Twyla Rivers of Flatwoods; his siblings, Doc Rivers (Neileen) of Gardner, Betty Henderson of Alexandria and Gail Herrington of Gardner; and his grandchildren, Knight, Brittany Simpson and Lance Evans. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
