He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Pitre Blanchard; his son Jason Blanchard; his parents, Abel, Jr. Blanchard and Flerita Terrebonne Blanchard; and his siblings, Royce Blanchard, Douglas "Tattoo" Blanchard, Sr., Harry Blanchard, Abel Blanchard, Jr., Peggy Honeyfield and Grace Cheramie.
He is survived by: his children, Walton "Bo" Blanchard, Jr. (Jade), Keeland "Kiwi" Blanchard (Theresa), Thistle Callais (Donald), Regina Blanchard and Kelly Wunstell (John "Winnie"); his grandchildren, Patches, Ashley, Christopher, Beau, Sarah and Ramie; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Katelyn, Kaden, David (D. J.), Serenity and Harper; and his siblings, Claude Blanchard, Roger Blanchard, Sr. and Joyce Terrebonne.
