She was predeceased by: her husband George J. Toups; her daughter Pamela Lynn Toups; her grandchild Hilary James Gautreaux; her son-in-law Byron Gautreaux; her parents, Lezie Adams and Alice Guidry Adams; and her siblings, Theo Adams, Oliver Adams Sr., Ebdon Adams Sr., Olivia Durio, Bertha Walker, Cherita Dandry, Estella Terrebonne and Augusta Cheramie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Toups, Sandra Toups, Jodie T. Gautreaux and Kelley T. Rodrigue (Kelly); her grandchildren, Alice Bruce (Donald), James Rodrigue II, Chance Gautreaux and Zachary Rodrigue; her great grandchildren, Donald Bruce, Creed Bruce and Addison Bruce; her sister Evada Singletary; and her nephew Danny Cheramie (Julie).
