He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Sarah Lathrop; his siblings, Kathy Lathrop Lafont (Julian), Alice Lathrop Adams (Matt) and Phillips Lathrop Sr. (Stacey); his nieces and nephews, Leah Lafont Adams (Dustan), Lilah Lafont Hunter (Todd), Phillip Lathrop Jr., Kaleb Lathrop (Sirema) and Jaedon Burregi; and his father Morrison "Lou" Lathrop (Patsy Cancienne Lathrop).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christian Family Center (18119 E Main St #1, Galliano, LA 70354). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Cheramie Cemetery.
