She was predeceased by: her husband Harrison Cheramie, Jr.; her parents, Ambert, Sr. Angelette and Natalie Angelette; her daughter Myra Bychurch; her siblings, Ambert Angelette, Jr., Roy Angelette and Yvonne Harvey; and her siblings-in-law, George Toups, Roger Eymard, Sr., Wendell Harvey and Rose Angelette.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Lafont (Jerry) and Harry Cheramie (Valerie); her grandchildren, Aaron Lafont, Noah Bychurch, Emily Lafont, Leah Bychurch and Joni Pitre; her siblings, Steve Angelette (Carolyn), Natalie Toups and Laurina Eymard; her sister-in-law Genevieve Angelette; her son-in-law Billy Bychurch; and her brother-in-law Elman "Manny" Cheramie (Stefanie).
