He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ford and Betty H. Ford; his grandchildren, Eric Verdin Jr. and Lexie Jane Verdin; and his siblings, Elmer Ray, Elmer Dean Ford and Judith "Judy" Hunter.
He is survived by: his sons, David C. Ford (Melissa), Eric Verdin Sr. (Shana) and Adam Verdin, Jr. (Sandra) of Edward; and his brothers, Melton Ford, William "Pete" Ford (Peaches) and Harold "Luke" Ford (Valerie).
