He was predeceased by: his father Cloudet J. Cheramie; and his brother-in-law Dennis Terrebonne. He is survived by: his wife Joan F. Griffin Cheramie; his mother Pearly C. Cheramie; his children, Sunshine Cheramie, Jodie Ougel (Shannon) and Jobie Griffin (Nathalie); his siblings, Russell Cheramie (Belinda), Sarah Lee Terrebonne (Butch), Laura Kiff (Jack) and Claudette Billiot (Herbert); his grandchildren, Aden Cheramie, Jason Ougel, Jacie Ougel (Coby), Cade Ougel and Stephen Griffin; and his great grandchildren, Gage Griffin and Cohen Griffin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
