He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alva Nichols and Tommie Credeur; his friend Jay Baker; his brothers, Rodney Earl Nichols and Alva Wayne Nichols; his niece Regina Nichols; his son Matthew Lynn Nichols (Samantha Boudreaux); his fiancée Kathy Morvan; his grandchildren, Everleigh, Paisley, Wacey and Archie; his nephew Brandon Nichols (Jeannie); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Nichols and Bonnie Nichols.
