He was predeceased by: his parents, Berlin Paul Aydell Sr. and Leola Aydell Aydell; his siblings, Berlin Paul Aydell, Judy Aydell Ponthieux, Carol Aydell Jolly and Billy Aydell; his former wife Margie Lee Miller Aydell; and his grandson Brandan Aydell.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Lynne Aydell, Russell Joseph Aydell Jr. (Angelle) and Berlin Michael Aydell; his siblings, Annette Aydell Simoneaux (Mac) and John Dale Aydell (Sandi); his sisters-in-law, Leverne Aydell and Sondra Lambert; his grandchildren, Felicia Simoneaux, Ellis Willie IV, Kelsey Willie and Russell Joseph Aydell III; and his great grandchildren, Jace and Abel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
