She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Hurst Lambert and William Hurst; her stepfather Preston Lambert; and her brothers, Paul Hurst and Leslie Lambert.
She is survived by: her husband Gusta Derrel Gardner; her daughters, Melissa Anderson, Christie Dunn, Elizabeth Lincoln and Mary Gardner; and her grandson Adam Albarez.
