We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2024, at the age of 91, Willie Louis Busby of Franklinton, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Busby and Rosa R. Busby; and his siblings, Jonteel Taylor, Mary Parsley and Floyd Busby.
He is survived by: his wife Edith "Punk" Busby; his children, Suzette Busby NeSmith (Steven NeSmith), Joan Busby, Bruce Busby (Liezel Busby), Butch Busby, Cheryl Busby and Gwinette Busby Vincent (Dale Vincent); his grandchildren, Jessica NeSmith Vernon (Kevin Vernon), Mitchell NeSmith (Amanda NeSmith), Louis Busby (Kaysie Busby), Elaiza Busby, Brooke Busby, Jake Busby (Taylor Busby), Hope Busby, Ashley Vincent Seal (Randall Seal Jr.), Alyssa Vincent and Jewel Vincent; and his siblings, Jimmy Busby and Doris Cox. He is also survived by father and is survived by his two sons and four daughters along with their spouses, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery (18486 Sanders Rd, Franklinton, LA 70438).
