He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Mae Tate Blackburn and William Matthew Blackburn, Sr.; his daughter Janice Marie Blackburn Brown; and his siblings, Alma Lee, Matha "Mack" Lee, Alene, B. J., Earnest, Dewey, Ray and Nathaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Butler; his daughter Lora Ann; his grandchildren, Matthew (India) and Brittany; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Avery James, Jaylah, Stephanie, Jholie, Bryson and Julius.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (28040 Par Rd 80, Mt Hermon, LA 70450). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
