He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nell Caves; his parents, William Oliver "Bill" and Agnes Ella Corkern Caves; his siblings, Billie Ann Caves Sumrall, John Earl Caves, Betty Jean Caves Brewer, Roger Dale "Roy" Caves, Golda Lea Caves Sumrall, Floyd Lee Caves and Donald Ray Caves; and his children, Rebecca "Becky" Ann Holmes, Melinda "Lynn" Caves, Kenneth "Kenny" Evans, Billie Vicknair (Kenny), Rodney Evans, Jonathan "David" Caves (Amaryllis), Dustin "Dusty" Caves (Shelley), Aimee Maxwell (Doug), Larry Thames (Kirsten), Crystal Thames, Tommy Caves, Jr. (Lorraine), Chris Thames and Stephanie Thames.
