He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Earl Lee Sr. and Vera Marie Belew; his siblings, Robert May, Frederick "Rick" Lee and Nancy Lee Chambers; and his sisters-in-law, Cheryl May and Belinda Campo.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Thomas Lee; his daughter Rebecca Ann Lee; his granddaughter Danielle Lee (Joel Hatty); his great grandchild Liliana Blake Hatty; his siblings, Edward "Donald" Lee Jr. (Thelma), Mark Lee, Debra "Katie" Mayo and Anita Hampton; and his brothers-in-law, Raymond Chambers and John Thomas.
