She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Wilson and Blanche Tate Wilson; and her grandparents, Elmer Fortenberry, Eloise Wilson and Darvey Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Brown (Larry), Cassie Bright, Englisha Magee (Agustus) of Abita Springs, Pearl Wilson of Hattisburg, MS and Alton Wilson (Leticia) of New Orleans, LA; her grandchildren, Shakil Wilson, Alton Jr, Mya Wilson Lazaren Brown, Joseph Ducree, Shiya Brown and Londyn Wilson; her great grandchild Kane Messiah Wilson; and her brother Alton Batiste of Copperas Cove.
