She was predeceased by: her parents, William Washington and Bessie Brumfield; her husbands, Harlin May and Causey Tate; her siblings, Marie Moore, Josephine Washington, William "Willie" Washington and Jerry Washington; and her grandchildren, Mark and Tiffany.
She is survived by: her children, Frankie Anders, Kimberly Tate of Franklinton, LA, Sharon Burris (Erskin) of Bogalusa, LA, Barbara Carr (Greg) of Reidville, GA, Larry Tate (Stacey), Timothy Tate (Tamnika) of Hammond, LA, Rose Lowe and Brenda Anders. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
